Rosa Anna Mastromauro, si è laureata con lode in Ingegneria Elettrica nel 2005 presso il Politecnico di Bari. Nel 2006 è entrata a far parte del gruppo di ricerca "Convertitori, Macchine ed Azionamenti Elettrici" del Politecnico di Bari e nel 2009 ha conseguito il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Ingegneria Elettrotecnica presso la stessa sede dove è stata docente dell'insegnamento di "Conversione Statica dell'Energia" (Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Elettrica) e precedentemente di "Elettronica di Potenza" (Laurea in Ingegneria Elettrica) dal 2009 al 2016. Nel 2013 ha conseguito l'Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale (ASN), ai sensi della legge 240/2010, nel settore concorsuale 09/E2 Ingegneria dell'Energia Elettrica (SSD ING-IND/32 "Convertitori, Macchine ed Azionamenti Elettrici") alle funzioni di Professore Associato. Nel 2021 ha conseguito l'Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale (ASN), ai sensi della legge 240/2010, nel settore concorsuale 09/E2 Ingegneria dell'Energia Elettrica alle funzioni di Professore Ordinario. Dal 2015 è Professore Associato afferente al Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione dell'Università di Firenze. E' docente titolare degli insegnamenti di "Macchine Elettriche" e "Convertitori di Potenza" presso l'Università di Firenze. Rosa Anna Mastromauro svolge attività di ricerca nel campo dei convertitori, delle macchine e degli azionamenti elettrici per applicazioni ai sistemi elettrici per l'energia, alle smart grid ed ai trasporti. Rosa A. Mastromauro è IEEE Senior Member, è inoltre Associate Editor della rivista Transactions on Industrial Electronics. E' stata General Chair dell Conferenza Internazione IEEE CPE-POWERENG 2021 - 15th International Conferenze on Compatibility, Power Electronics and Power Engineering- che si è tenuta a Firenze dal 14 al 16 Luglio 2021.

Brief Description of the Research Activity
The research activity has been mainly oriented to the static power conversion topologies and the related control systems with application to smart grids and distributed power generation systems based on renewable energies. In the last years research has been also focused on power converters for transportation applications and on high power converters for industrial applications. Besides, research activity has been also devoted to power converters integration in the electrical power system and to management and control of the distributed power generation systems using the power converters as key technology. The rest of the research activity treated different applications of the electrical machines. The publications received 2347 citations in the Scopus database access (04 /13/2024) and 3899 citations in the Google Scholar database. The h-index is 20 in the Scopus database (h-index=24 in Google Scholar database). The topics attracting numerous citations are: droop controller for a multifunctional converter; voltage-controlled power converter operating as an active filter; islanding detection techniques for distributed power generation systems; resonant and repetitive controllers for grid- connected converters; reactive power control performed by photovoltaic converters; maximum power point tracking algorithm for photovoltaic systems; back-to-back converter for wind turbine systems. From 2006 (date of the first publication) until today several scientific collaborations have been developed in national, international and industrial scenario. The results are attested by scientific publications indexed in Scopus database e WoS database.

Legenda
Rosa A. Mastromauro received the M.Sc. "cum laude" and the Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari, Italy, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. Since 2006, she has been with the "Power Converters, Electrical Machines, and Drives" Research Team, Politecnico di Bari. Currently she is an Associate Professor at the University of Florence where she is engaged in teaching courses of power electronics and electrical machines. Her research interests include power converters and control techniques for electrical power systems, smart grids and transportation applications. Rosa A. Mastromauro is an IEEE Senior Member.
